Barton Y. Shigemura is the President and CEO.

Prior to YottaYotta, Mr. Shigemura was Chairman and CEO of Alidian Networks, a layer 2 grooming and aggregation platform in the metro optical market. Prior to Alidian, Bart was Vice President of worldwide Marketing for all data products at Lucent Technologies. He joined Lucent via their acquisition of Yurie Systems for $1.1b dollars in an all cash transaction. Bart served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, and was a member of their Board of Directors, helping to take Yurie public in 1997. Before joining Yurie, Bart was Vice President of Marketing and Services for Premisys Communications, joining that organization prior to their IPO. Earlier in his career, Bart held executive sales and marketing positions at Nortel Networks, General DataComm and IBM.

Bart has been on the board of a number of public and private companies including Tellium, Yurie, Cibernet, and YottaYotta, Inc. Bart has a B.S. degree in Marketing and Finance from the University of Southern California.

Tony Brogden is the Executive Vice President, R&D and Operations.

Prior to YottaYotta, Mr. Brogden served as Executive Vice President and General Manager for Distributed [Storage] Processing Technology in Orlando, Florida. Prior to DPT, Mr. Brogden held management and engineering positions with McDonnell Aircraft Company and Martin Marietta Electronics and Aerospace.

Mr. Brogden holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering and Management from Auburn University.

Jack Kurtz is the Vice President, Sales.

Prior to joining YottaYotta, Mr. Kurtz served as Vice President, Sales for Tellium Inc. Prior to Tellium, Mr. Kurtz served as Vice President, Sales for the Americas at the Fantastic Corporation, a European broadband software company recently listed on the Frankfurt, Neuermarket Exchange. Prior to Fantastic, Jack served as a Director of Sales at Lucent Technologies and as Vice President, Federal Systems (Government) for Yurie Systems, prior to its acquisition by Lucent. Jack also served in a number of sales management roles at Auspex [NAS Storage] Systems, AT&T Computer Systems, and Bay Networks where his clients included America Online and numerous network operators.

Mr. Kurtz holds a B.S., in Marketing and Management Information Systems, from the Syracuse University School of Management.

Wayne Karpoff is the Vice President, CTO.

Prior to co-founding YottaYotta, Mr. Karpoff served as President of Myrias Computer Technologies, an Edmonton technology company that led supercomputing in Canada. While at Myrias, Mr. Karpoff was responsible for leading-edge projects in the development of massively parallel hardware and software systems.

Mr. Karpoff holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Computing Science from the University of Alberta.

James Sand is the Vice President of Finance.

Prior to joining YottaYotta Mr. Sand held the senior financial position with R&M Energy System Canada, a manufacturer of downhole oilfield pumps. Prior to R&M Mr. Sand held the Vice President of Finance position with Corrpro Canada, Inc., a manufacturer and service provider in the cathodic protection market. Prior to Corrpro, Mr. Sand worked with the accounting firm of Price Waterhouse in Edmonton, AB.

Mr. Sand holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta, a business Diploma from Red Deer College and is a chartered accountant.
