Board of Directors
Richard Prytula – Chairman of the Board
Richard Prytula is Chairman of the Board of TechnoCap Inc, Gestion
TechnoCap Inc., TechnoAnge Inc., YottaYotta Inc. and 4198638 Canada
Inc. (Hyperchip) and is a Managing Partner of TechnoCap I, L.P. Richard
founded TechnoCap in 1993 and has co-founded technology companies such
as YottaYotta and Hyperchip. Richard serves as a Director of various
technology companies.
Prior to TechnoCap, Richard was Chairman, President and CEO of TurnCap,
managing growth and turnaround companies and prior to that he was
Chairman, President and CEO of LNS Group, a defence, aerospace and
manufacturing group.
Richard holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of
Saskatchewan and an M.B.A. from the University of Western Ontario.
Richard is bilingual in English and French.
Marc Balevi – Director
Marc Balevi is a managing partner for TechnoCap I, L.P. and President
of TechnoAnge Inc. Marc is also a director of many other
technology companies including Kinaxis Inc., FreeBalance Inc., Gestion
TechnoCap Inc. and TechnoCap Inc.
Prior, Mr. Balevi was a senior tax partner with the accounting firm of
KPMG. Marc was also the tax liaison partner coordinating tax
services for all technology companies of KPMG’s Montreal office
including many pharmaceutical companies such as Pfizer and Novartis
Mr. Balevi has a Bachelor of Commerce and a Diploma in Accountancy from
McGill University, and is a Chartered Accountant.
Dennis Costello – Director
Dennis Costello is the Managing Director of US Ventures, an investment
management company.
Prior to joining US Ventures, Mr. Costello was with Advent
International, where he has been investing in early to later stage
middle market companies for over 10 years. He has been an active
venture capital and private equity investor for the past 15
years.
Mr. Costello holds a Master of Science degree in business from MIT,
where he was an Alfred P. Sloan Fellow 1980-1981. He also holds
an M.A. in economics from Ohio State University and a B.A. in economics
from the State University of New York, College at Fredonia.
David Lemont - Director
Mr. Lemont is the President of Lemont Consulting. Lemont Consulting develops go-to market strategies for early stage companies. Prior to founding Lemont Consulting, Mr. Lemont was the Chief Executive Officer of AppIQ, a Storage Management Software company that was recently acquired by HP. Prior to joining AppIQ, Mr. Lemont was the Chief Executive Officer of Revit Technology, where he led the company through its successful 2002 acquisition by Autodesk, a design software and digital content company. Prior to joining Revit, Mr. Lemont was the Chief Operating Officer of Concentra Corporation, a provider of CRM solutions for product configuration. Revit completed an initial public offering in 1996 and was eventually acquired by Oracle Corporation, following which Mr. Lemont managed Oracle’s Product Configuration division. Mr. Lemont holds a B.S. in Education and English from Bucknell University.
Barton Shigemura – Director
Barton Shigemura, CEO of YottaYotta, also sits as management
representation to the board. His biography is included above in the
management section.
